David is a physiotherapist with a keen interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine, having completed his Masters at Queen Mary University London in 2018. David currently combines his work at CHHP with Middlesex C.C.C where he works with the professional squad based at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

David completed his BSc (Hons) at University of Nottingham in 2010, and has since gone on to work with Arsenal Women F.C and Tottenham Hotspurs Academy before going into the world of cricket. He now works full-time with Middlesex C.C.C throughout the year, and has also worked with England and Wales Cricket Board and Marylebone C.C on a consultancy basis. Alongside his clinical work David has lectured at University College London, and Queen Mary University London on the management of cricket injuries.

David’s clinical interests lie in the management of sports injuries, and has vast experience in the rehabilitation of pars defects / stress fractures / spondylolysis of the lumbar spine. He believes in appropriate workload management in combination with global stability in order to prevent injury, and enhance performance. When he’s not in clinic, David will usually be found on a golf course or studying to find the next winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup!
